After Nicky and Olivier flew back to Montreal on May 18 and experienced emtpy airports I thought now was a great time to travel. Super cheap and very low risk with the depopulated planes and airports and mask-wearing protocols, etc. It seemed a nonstop from PDX to GDL might well be less risky than a trip to the grocery store.
After consulting with Jerry and Gabriel, I booked a flight. The flight got cancelled, then rescheduled a couple of weeks later, so I didn't end up flying until June 20. By that time, travel was getting more routine again. My plane was about 75% full.
I rented a BMW R1200 R from Ride The Sierra for the week (MX$12,000 (US$520)) for 7 days from Terry Vidal at Ride the Sierra. Also on the tour were
