Kathi and Chris headed out to join a bunch of friends on Lizard Island on the Great Barrier Reef in far North East Australia. Along the way, we stayed 3 days in Melbourne seeing the city and adapting to the time change. Then we flew over to Hobart Tasmania where we rented a Triumph Tiger 800 XCX and rode 2-up for 4 days seeing southeast Tazzie. After a day of waiting for cancelled flights in HBA we made our way back to Melbourne and onward to Cairns and a charter flight to Lizard Island.
On Lizard, we spent five glorious days talking to friends, eating wonderful food, snorkeling, eating more wonderful food, and talking some more.
