Breakfast at So'Co Happy was good. Met Alec at 10:00am, then checked out, walked back to the station, and with Alec, we caught the train to Antibes. Good thing we bought tickets last night because there were long lines of tourists trying to buy tickets at the machines. Linda stayed home to take care of the dogs. We walked from Antibes station 1km to the tour start hotel and left our bags before walking back to wander around downtown. We walked around the Saturday market and found Nettle Cheese (Tomme de chevre aux Orties) while Alec tried to find Jalapenos.
Lunch at an Italian restaurant (Angelo’s by Le Milano Antibes), salad with crevets e salmon, Chris had salad with bufala and tomatos, Alec had fish of the day. A little boy (about 12 years old) served us our food, very cute.
Then through the old neighborhoods with pretty alleys, then around the port looking at the amazing number of +20M yachts. Finally, back to the station, dropped off Alec, then back to the hotel where the motorcycles are all lined up waiting for us.
Chris went to check out the bikes and our BMWF900XR (Red, White, and Blue; very pretty) and he met one of the other participants, Neil. Inside at 4:00pm, we had the tour orientation where we met our guide; Tomaž Žust who was our lead guide back in 2022 on our first tour with Adriatic Moto Tours, and Bojidan Krivokapić who would be our support van driver. There are 10 bikes on this tour and three couples including us riding 2-up. And almost everyone is a returning customer. We're all AMT fans!
