2026 AMT France, Sun May 17, 2026

A more relaxed, 16,000 step day just hanging out in the parks on a fabulously beautiful, warm spring sunday with the whole town out sunbathing. I started the GPS recording but Android killed it almost immediately so I don't have a map for our walk.

We went to breakfast back at Il Vicolo for crepes. We sat outside and played with a friendly French Bulldog. Then walked to Parco del Valentino up and down the length of the park, watching the people, listening to the music, and just feeling the day. There were boats rowing on the river and it seemed like the entire town was out walking. We visited Porto Nuova Station to see the bookstore and check out train schedules and baggage drop. Looking good for tomorrow.

On the way home, we stopped in a CarreFour Express for a bit more food, then ate at our apartment on the balcony to use up all of our food before moving out tomorrow.
