A nice breakfast

Bielerhöhe

At the cost of an extra 40 minutes or so, I'm going to take a detour up to Bielerhöhe to make this day a little more interesting.
Bielerhöhe is another one of those passes where you pay a toll and the road is restricted for trucks and trailers. Totally worth the €16.

Bike Wash

I drove past a car wash, checked it out and found it was only coin operated and I had no CHF coins. So I moved on.
Then I saw a sign for another "truck wash", turned back and followed the sign down an alley into an industrial area with a two-stall car wash.
This one was also coin operated, but there was a guy washing his RV in the other stall. He spoke some English and sold me CHF 10 worth of coins and a CHF 10 for a CHF 20.
He also gave me his tired washing sponge.
We had an interesting conversation and then I got to washing the bike. CHF 1 per minute for pressure washing. Then a weak bit of soap. A pass with the sponge. Another CHF 1 for a rinse and I was on my way.

Back to Zug

And out for dinner with Joe and Bridget

The trip meter says 6,800 km. That's about 4,240 miles or 1.5 times across the USA.
Google says this is my June 2023 location history.
That one spot in the Netherlands is changing planes in AMS on my way home.
Looks like I spent June sampling a bit of everywhere in Central Europe.
Time to head home. ZUR→AMS→PDX starting tomorrow morning at 7:00am, head out to the airport at 4:30am.
Good night!
