Riding Day 11 (June 2) Logroño → Balaguer

Future FUBZ-moto participants?

I didn't get any pictures, but much of our route from Logroño to Olite was along Camino de Santiago or The Way of Saint James, and we saw lots of pilgrims walking from France to the Western tip of Spain.

Castillo Olite/Erriberri Palace of the Kings of Navarre of Olite This is one of the most classic of "Castles".

Rest stop beside the highway in Morillo de Liena It's 4:10pm.

These are some amazing roads map

These roads ROCK!

Endless switchbacks with hairpin turns.

I love these pastoral valley scenes.

Views from our AirBnB.

Dinner was fabulous and we had an energetic and beautiful waitress who spoke several languages including English.

Of course there's a river running through town... this one is the Riu Segre a tributary to the Ebro. Much of this water comes from the La Valira that we saw running through Andorra. There are a few reservoirs on the way and irrigation takeoffs which I thing explains why the flow rate is so much lower that what we saw in Andorra.

I'm not sure what this "garden?" is. It's down by the river, under in the shadow of the highway bridge.
