Shan's Winsome Homes provided us with a hill-top site in Monmouth Oregon right in the center of the eclipse path from which to view. Weather was PERFECT!
We headed up the night before and camped out for the early morning event.
Chris and Matt fix the FJR1300's headlights
The FJR1300, a few months earlier, had mysteriously lost headlights. Turns out to be a wiring short. We tore out all the "upgraded" lighting and installed normal headlights and a new battery. All ready for the big trip!
No more HID headlights. Stock is plenty bright and much more reliable.
Replace the fuze fried by the wiring short and put in a new battery. All good to go.
