2026 Chris North to Tromsø, Tue July 14, 2026

Went out early to figure out the airport train (Arland Express) then I found a (Oat Milk) Latte and Rye with walnuts roll at Fabrique. I bought a banana and liter of milk, then back to City Backpacker Hostel for a museli breakfast and talked with a Dutch woman here with her daughters. Then worked on some code for a bit before walking back to the Vasa Museum. I was almost denied re-entry when they said the 72-hour ticket was only good for one entry(!?) but she relented and let me back in. I spent 2 hours there reading all the plaques and I really enjoyed it. Then I went to the Nordic Museum. That was an amazing museum with soooo many artifacts. Good story telling, but too much reliance on computer touch screens which take too long to read about the artifacts. Overall it was almost overwhelming, there was so much to see. Then I walked back, stopping again at a Holy Greens for a big salad dinner.

But Bageri Norrmalm being closed led me to Fabrique which was excellent

I also had a really nice conversation with the waitress

Return to the Vasa Museum

There was a huge line outside, but it moved reasonably quickly. Inside, I learned that the 72 hour combo ticket is only good for one entry. But I complained and she relented and let be back in. I was there for 2 more hours.
