Temperatures started 14, 13 then rose to 20+. There were a few showers, but nothing that got me really wet. The ride was tiring. My back is really getting tired of this. A high point in the day was breakfast at Kauppahallin Kahvila in Oulu. The Salmon soup and Latte were superb. Later I was tired and broke down and stopped for ice cream at a highway pull-out with a stand.
After finding the apartment, finding the key, getting inside and unpacking, I scouted out the ferry check in for tomorrow morning. Takes 7 minutes to ride there. Bike is all fueled up and ready for tomorrow.
I researched Scandanavian restaurants in Vaasa and found 2 good candidates. Fröj and Hejm. It's going to be a tough decision. I'm going to go walk by both of them for a closer look.
