Today we grabbed a SNCF (Société nationale des chemins de fer français) train to Monte Carlo Monaco and walked around Monaco all day. The Monaco Grand Prix race begins one week from tomorrow, so massive preparations were under way. Shortly after exiting the station, we found a healthy food restaurant where we had bowl salads and juice. Monaco is expensive, €51 ($59) for a light lunch.
The weather was warm and wonderful for a walk around the harbor, viewing the Grand Prix preparations and the super yachts. Then up to the palace and into France for a bit before making our way back to the station where we caught the 5:18 train with just 2 minutes to spare. We even got seats together.

This is the fameous super yacht SPARTA 65 meters, Range: 4500Nm on 140,000 litres of fuel at 16 knots. That's 0.1 mpg! A drive across the Atlantic will take 10 days and cost you $200,000 in fuel alone. Is is a bitchin boat though.
After shopping at Conad City, we had dinner at home. Several pesto sauces, crackers, beans, smoked cheese, sardines, bread sticks, tomatoes. All Yum!
