We had a lazy morning at the apartment eating fruit, Chris went out to a laundromat and washed our clothes which we hung to dry in the apartment. Chris went out for another coffee and croisant at that place across the alley from our apartment. It was as good as it looked. Then we headed out for a long 13,000 steps, 6 miles walk around Genova from our apartment to east of Brignole station and back through a lot of downtown Genova.
On our way, we saw some impressive pastry shops with veritable works of edible art in the windows.

We spent some time reading children's books in xxx bookstore and Kathi bought Il Gruffalo, a story about a mouse and a monster.
Then at a coffee shop / coffee machine shop, Kathi bought a can of illy Decaffeinato.
We stopped for a bubble tea / smoothie at xxx
At Brignole sstation, we bought train tickets for tomorrow.
For dinner we stopped at a vegetarian/vegan restaurant "Be" and had a great conversation with the chef and his assistant. She is heading to Australia for school.
Finally we walked along many very narrow alleys back to our apartment where we had a desert of chocolates from Torino.
