Went to the dog park with Kathi and Puff in the morning and walked for ~2 hours.
Home, finished packing, and left for the airport at 1:15pm. PDX was really quiet.
The flight was reasonably smooth, but Iceland Air is super stingy about food and drinks and the seatback screen advertizes in your face constantly. I slept some, maybe 3--4 hours, but it wasn't easy.

Passport control was packed and a super-cheerful guy was packing us all in. We waited in line a bit over an hour and I didn't get served until 25 minutes after my flight started boarding. From there I ran to my gate, arrived winded, and was almost the last one on. Two women on this flight were behind me in the passport line and the attendants held the gate open for them. Whew!
The second flight was much easier as I was super tired (Pacific Time 2am) and I slept soundly for the entire flight.
