Chris was up earlier at 7:00 for breakfast and Kathi arrived about 8:30. Hotel Vittoria has an excellent breakfast buffet.
We intended to walk around and see more of the part of Milan we hadn't seen before. We would see some parks and maybe go to a museum.
The weather was perfect during the day and even into the evening.
We walked and passed a bookstore which Kathi wanted to visit again another time (didn't end up with extra time), walked through xxx Park Duomo and noticed them setting up for an event, looks like a marathon will happen tomorrow. Later in the evening, we walked past about 10 paddy wagons and lots of police in full riot gear. There was a palestinian demonstration going on, maybe they were preparing for potential violence. Seemed like a non-event though.
We tried to go into the Natural History museum around 3pm (closing at 4:30), but it was crowded and there was a wait. Being tired at that point we went back to the hotel.
After resting for a while we decided to get dinner earlier than the typical 7pm. Kathy's first choice restaurant was still closed until 7, though Google said otherwise. So we ended up at Salsamenteria di Parma San Babila.
We both slept a little less well this night.
