Driving around the outside of Athens to go north

Riding to the top of a prominent mountain East of Athens :: Not sure of the name of this mountain in Penteil Greece

Across some windy ridges

Arriving Xenonas Chrisso

After the rain lightened up, we rode through Delphi, past all the many tour busses, skipping all the archaeological site of Θόλος της Αθηνάς Προναίας (Tholos of Athena Pronaia) and the Oracle of Delphi. Delphi was the seat of Pythia, the major oracle who was consulted about important decisions throughout the ancient classical world. The ancient Greeks considered the centre of the world to be in Delphi, marked by the stone monument known as the Omphalos of Delphi (navel).
Anyway, we ignored the Oracle due to the rain and proceeded through the town of Delphi where tour busses carefully navigated the narrow road blocking traffic for 10 minutes at a time, and on to our B&B. We didn't stop for pictures because of the rain. Even navigating in the rain is quite difficult as touch screen phones don't work with lots of rain on them...

Dinner down the street at ΤΑΒΕΡΝΑ ΜΠΑΣΑΝΟΣ (TAVERNA BASANOS)
