Kathi starts her first day of Intensive Group Course lessons at NaClips Italian School
every day from Monday to Friday, from 9:00am to 1:00pm (20 hours per week) for 3 weeks
"three lessons a day with different teachers. In the first two lessons we will work on grammar and conversation, and in the third lesson we will deal with Italian culture. In the break you can have a coffee, repeat the lesson, chat with other students or take a walk in the surroundings before returning to class." --- sounds like Kathi is going to have a good time too!

Meanwhile, Chris and Dave are on their First day riding out of Milan --- If the weather is warm and dry, we can do lots of mountain roads south of the A1/E35/E45 highways to Bologna (6h 360km). But if it's cold or wet, we can take the highway over (2h30m 220km). In Bologna we can visit the Ducati factory tour 9:00am-6:00pm Mon afternoon or Tue morning.

Chris and Dave bled the Ducati brakes, packed the bikes, and finally were on their way at about 1:30pm. Took the highway south and didn't head into the hills until reaching Parma. Still it was a nice day of riding and we were relieved to have brakes on the Ducati!

After hunting down tools, bleeding the Ducati brakes, and packing, we took the highway out of Milano towards Bologna. 4hrs, 270km

Mototouring

Chris injured his leg parking the Ducati in Bologna. He tried to lift it onto the center
stand on cobble stones and it just wouldn't go up on the stand. He pushed really hard and
tore his calf muscle. This would prove to be a significant injury affecting the next 4 weeks.

Looks like we stayed at R&B La Villa on the East side of Bologna, well away from the Ducati Museum on the West side where we originally hoped to stay. No real problem.

Meanwhile in Napoli here's what Kathi was doing
