Up at 6am. Drinking coffee and looking at the construction.
Decided to eat in with the food from last night - 2 yogurts, milk, kombucha, chocolate.
Took off at 8:30 to get to the Zoo by opening time at 9:30. Got tickets to see baby elephants at 10:30.
but first, we stopped to play in the really nice playground at Lincoln Square Park
This is a really nice zoo. Very good for visitors with all of the foliage around and between exhibits. We only managed to see about half of it.
Grabbed a snack to tide us over to dinner, then walked back to hotel. Rested up and then went back to Lanzhou noodles for dinner about 5p. We went to Victoria market but it had closed at 4p. Decided to stop at a nearby park and chose to continue to the Yarra river to walk around.
There were two babies and one pregnant elephant (though they don't show their pregnancy). Both calves were born about mid Nov. One was sleeping like a rug for quite awhile. We had a 30 minute time slot for viewing.

We walked 21.7k steps today.
