That was the plan, but I think we were running late and took a short-cut on 49 to Mariposa. Then Forrest crashed and broke his collar bone somewhere near Coulterville I think.
Loretta lived in Merced and helped rescue Forrest. Matt and I rode the busted VFR to Merced and left it behind a motorcycle shop.
