We got the bikes delivered to Motoshippers last night, so that is sorted.
Now we need to travel 300 miles to San Antonio Airport for our flights back to San Diego and Portland.
Armando departs 8:20pm and Chris is the next flight from the same gate.
We took the SPI Taxi from our Ramada Inn to the Harlingen bus station is 48 miles and takes an hour --- charge was $80 + tip.
Greyhound has a bus from Harlingen TX to the San Antonio Bus Station for about $45/pp. 10:00am to 5:50pm (8 hrs, ugg!)

And we had intrusive border patrol stops where they requied all travelers to show ID. So much for our "freedoms".
Then an Uber for the 8 miles from the bus station to the airport in time for check-in for 8:20 pm flight.
