Google said 7h4m actual was 6h28m, so I was 8.5% faster Austria is really made for motorcycles. A really fine day. Hotel with a really nice view.

Out of the plains and into the forest for more Great roads

Cemetary

Drove pretty fast and took an extra break near the end.
Passing this park with lots of statues in plastic boxes, I decided it was time for a break.
Parked next to a cemetary with a lot of expensive headstones and fresh flowers.
Rested for about half an hour before the last hour push to Klagenfurt am Wörthersee.

A place with a nice view

This hotel Gasthof Karawankenblick Völkermarkt looks like a really nice place to stay in the future. Just check out the view from their deck out back. You can't beat the location for fabulous views.

Arriving Penzion Wachau

After checking into my room, I rode into Klagenfurt am Wörthersee to find dinner.
I checked out a laundry on the way, but decided I could just about make it to the end if I washed just one more pair of socks and undies in the sink.
So, ride into Innere Stadt to have a walk around.

Dinner at Pa Ni Ma

Pa Ni Ma or Panima has the best potato crisps (cross between french fries and potato chips) that I've ever had anywhere. I also had an exceptionally good salad and pork cutlets with tomato slices under melted cheese. Absolutely delicious.

After taking the advice of my waiter about which gellato shop is the best in town for desert, I walked around just a little bit before riding back to my room for a good night's rest.
It's off to Slovenia and Italy tomorrow.
I'm getting tired. Mixed feelings about approaching the end of this epic adventure.
